We all love our clothes – some of them even more, don’t we? But what happens when you’ve been wearing them for a long time? Yes, some annoying sweat stains appear, no matter how good your deodorant is. If you haven’t found yet a suitable detergent for removing them, or to prevent their occurrence, take a look at our tips:
Always test the remedy you are going to use. Choose a random invisible sector of the tissue, for this purpose. Testing will reduce the risk of damaging your accessories and textiles;
However, maybe you are too busy with work, regular domestic maintenance and any other obligations. Or stains are too stubborn? Don’t worry there is still a way out. Keep in mind that you can use professional cleaning services or dry cleaning. Let your favourite clothes stay beautiful and clean as much as possible!
- Hydrogen peroxide – This is one of the best solutions for white fabrics. Mix equal quantities of Hydrogen peroxide and water. Soak the clothes for 30 minutes and rinse with cold water. If the blot still persists, prepare a stronger mixture and repeat the procedure. You need to be especially careful with coloured fabrics however, because Hydrogen peroxide has a whitening effect;
- For coloured clothes – better use apple vinegar. Mix 1 tablespoon of apple vinegar with 100 ml of water. Soak the clothes for 20-30 minutes and then wash them with cold water;
- What you should do with the unpleasant smell? Sometimes it remains even after carefully and thoroughly washing. For removing it, use some baking soda. Mix it with a little water until you have a thick mess. Put it on the affected areas and let it work. Rinse and wash as usual;
- Aspirin for stainless clothes – Finely crush 3 tablets of aspirin and add some cool water so that you get a mess. Rub it on the spots with an old toothbrush and leave it for 20-30 minutes. Rinse well with cool water;
- Yellow blots?! – They are normal after prolonged wearing of the clothes. But if you don’t take care in time, removing stains can become a “mission impossible”. And the only solution would be the ordinary bleach. Never iron the parts of clothes with yellow spots! The heat from the iron will help fixing the stain and you know it’s bad, right?
