How to neutralise harmful emissions in your home?

It has been found that the level of a dozen or chemical pollutants in the home are from 2 to 5 times higher than outside.
Scientists suspect that these are the reasons for the increasing incidence of asthma and other respiratory diseases. These impurities cause many other serious diseases.
  • Chemicals in carpets: Many carpets contain toxic chemicals. Glue and paints are used in carpets emit substances that are harmful to your health. Choose non-toxic materials, such as wool or solid wood flooring and bamboo.

  • Harmful air fresheners: The main culprits in this case are the ethylene glycol ethers having the base of terpenes. Ethers are toxic, while terpenes have poisonous compounds, binding from ozone. Watch out for products with the scent of lemon and pine, because the chemicals that are used to obtain accurate these scents react with ozone in the air to form formaldehyde and ultrafine particles that may end up in the lungs.
  • Be careful during your domestic cleaning: House dust is harmful, but the detergents that you use to clean your home are even more harmful. Detergents, fabric softeners and other substations can contain chemicals considered carcinogenic. Watch out for cleansers that are insecticides. They use different types of toxic pesticides that may cause harm to children and subject them to harmful emissions. It is believed that they are a major cause of Parkinson's disease.
  • How to clean without harmful chemicals: Even if it seems an impossible task, regular monitoring and maintenance of better living conditions in the home where you live, may become an easy task. Why not using baking soda, vinegar and lemon juice, for example. Other natural cleaning agents are hydrogen peroxide and organic essential oils. For example, the combination of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide very effectively disinfects and sanitises.
